SANDY SHORES — Emergency & Paramedic Medical Services (HPMS) welcomed a true friend of Blaine County on Thursday, as beloved local leader Chumley Bigchumbs stopped by the station to personally thank the men and women who keep our community safe every single day.
Bigchumbs praised HPMS for its unwavering dedication to Sandy Shores and the surrounding county, calling the staff "the true backbone of this community." He also celebrated the station's decision to host a polling place for the upcoming election, calling it "a beautiful example of civic pride" and thanking HPMS for making it easier than ever for residents to make their voices heard. "These men and women give everything for us, every single day," Bigchumbs said. "The least I can do is show up, say thank you, and make sure they know how much this county appreciates them."
To cap off the visit, Bigchumbs treated the entire HPMS staff to pizza, a small gesture that station staff say brightened a busy shift.
