AMERICA'S 250TH: SANDY SHORES SET TO HOST MASSIVE INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

SANDY SHORES, BLAINE COUNTY — Sandy Shores is gearing up for what organizers are calling the biggest Fourth of July celebration in Blaine County history, as San Andreas joins the rest of the nation in marking 250 years of American independence.

The festivities will be held at the Sandy Shores Marina Boat House on the banks of the Alamo Sea, with a full day of entertainment, food, live music, and community celebration planned from gates open through to a grand midnight fireworks finale. A confirmed date and start time are still to be announced, and organizers are urging residents to stay tuned to Weazel News and the official event website for updates as they come.

The event features over 40 food vendors and market stalls lining the waterfront, two live music stages running simultaneously all afternoon and evening, a dedicated family zone with games and activities for all ages, and a boat parade on the Alamo Sea at golden hour.

Adding a major cultural draw to the celebration, several singers from the highly regarded Epilsom Program are confirmed to perform at the event. The Epilsom Program, known across San Andreas for developing some of the state's most promising vocal talent, will bring live performances to the main stage as part of the evening's headline entertainment. Organizers say this will be one of the program's largest public showcases to date, and fans of the program are encouraged to get to the Marina early to secure their spot.

The night will close with what is shaping up to be an absolutely massive fireworks grand finale launched directly over the Alamo Sea, described by organizers as one of the most ambitious pyrotechnic displays ever attempted in Blaine County. Multiple launch points along the waterfront will be used to create a panoramic show visible from across the desert. Residents across Sandy Shores, Grapeseed, and even parts of the Senora Desert are expected to have a clear view.
